After lower sessions, oil prices are rising again

Baghdad Oil prices jumped more than five percent during trading today, Monday, recovering from a series of losses that lasted seven sessions.

The international benchmark Brent crude futures rose $3.27, or 5%, to $68.48 a barrel by 06:10 pm Baghdad time, after it touched its lowest level since May 21 at $64.60 earlier in the session.

US West Texas Intermediate crude contracts jumped $4.31, or 5.3 percent, to $65.35 a barrel.

The two benchmarks recorded last week the worst weekly loss in more than nine months, with Brent falling about 8% and US crude about 9%.
