Extinguishing a fire that broke out inside a commercial complex southeast of Baghdad

Baghdad The Civil Defense Directorate put out a fire that broke out inside a backyard belonging to a two-storey building, which was used as a warehouse for the “Kulshi and Kalashi” commercial complex in the New Baghdad area, southeast of Baghdad.

The Directorate stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it that the civil defense teams controlled the fire that broke out inside the warehouse, which was filled with plastic and household goods, and in violation of the safety and security instructions issued by the Civil Defense Directorate not to build warehouses using sandwich panels with a quick ignition, the teams prevented the fire from spreading to the floors of the building and commercial buildings adjacent to the accident site, without recording injuries or human losses.

The Civil Defense requested the opening of an investigation at the police station responsible for the geographical area, based on the report of the forensic evidence expert, to determine the causes of the fire in the first place inside the burning warehouse.
