Baghdad / NINA/ – The Civil Defense Directorate put out two fires at the same time inside Al-Karkh Teaching Hospital.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the civil defense teams controlled a fire incident that broke out inside a garbage place inside the Karkh Teaching Hospital at the back door of the hospital, and as soon as the fire was extinguished, the civil defense teams noticed another fire incident that broke out inside one of the secondary ceilings in the burn hall, so the teams rushed to control and put out the fires and rescued about 15 oxygen cylinders and ended the two accidents without recording injuries or casualties, while limiting the material damage.

It explained that the cause of the two accidents was as a result of negligence in terms of occupational safety issued by the Directorate of Civil Defense with regard to waste, as well as electrical wiring in secondary ceilings.
