Federal Service Council Participates In Arab Conference On The Role Of Public Administration In Facing Repercussions Of Coronavirus

Baghdad Chairman of the Federal Public Service Council Mahmoud Al-Tamimi participated in the conference on the role of the Arab public administration in facing the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic, which was held in Egypt, through the electronic circuit, with the participation of ministers, heads of bureaus and Arab civil service bodies.

Al-Tamimi said in his speech at the conference: “Our experience in Iraq is different from the rest of the experiences, because we were establishing the Service Council in Iraq in its new form, which was portrayed by the will of the project after it was disrupted for more than thirty years.”

He pointed out: “One of the most prominent contributions of the Council in confronting the Coronavirus pandemic is the approval of the appointment of more than (54) thousand employees, in accordance with Law No. (6) of 2000 amended to provide the health sector with workers in the face of the outbreak of the epidemic.”

He called for opening the bonds of cooperation with the Service Council in Iraq and providing it with publications related to the public service to unify the prospects for work in this important juncture in all countries.
