Baghdad / NINA /- Five people were killed in a shooting at Kabul airport, where thousands of Afghans flock to, fearing for their lives, after the Taliban took control of the country.
According to Reuters, eyewitnesses said they saw bloodied bodies lying on the ground outside the passenger terminal.
The US military took charge of security at Kabul airport to implement the massive airlift for diplomats and foreign citizens after the collapse of the Afghan government on Sunday. Evacuation flights will take place on the separate military side of the airport.
