Human Rights Office In Basra Warns Of The Dangerous Consequences Of Bad Conditions In The Governorate Due To Electricity

Basra The Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Basra has warned of the dangerous consequences of the bad conditions in the province as a result of the repeated complete power cuts.

The office said, according to a statement, “Such situations are surprising due to the weakness and obsolescence of treatments and the indifference of the central government, with the scarcity and pollution of water and an increase in the salt tongue.”

“The office considers these serious violations and those responsible must be brought to justice.” The statement added.

The office called on members of the House of Representatives from Basra Governorate to clarify their positions and field procedures in the face of increasing the suffering of community members.
