Baghdad The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, revealed the occurrence of crimes and reprisals, which are in violation of international humanitarian law, in Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban.
“I am closely following events in Afghanistan, and I am particularly concerned by recent indications of an escalation of violence in the country,” Khan said in a press statement.
He pointed out: “There are crimes that can be considered a violation of international humanitarian law.”
