Baghdad Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Affairs and Legal Affairs, Qahtan Taha Khalaf, discussed with Swedish Ambassador Lars Ronnås coordination on positions and issues of common interest at the international level.

A Foreign Ministry statement said today that the Undersecretary for Multilateral Affairs and Legal Affairs received the Swedish ambassador, and the two sides discussed frameworks for bilateral cooperation, developing relations between the two countries, and coordinating positions and issues of common interest at the international level.

The meeting was attended, according to the statement, by Ali Hilal, acting head of the Human Rights Department.
