Baghdad The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, held an extensive meeting with all security leaders in Nineveh Governorate, to discuss security challenges.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated, “In order to closely monitor the progress of the security plans and procedures for the protection of electric power lines and towers, and after the recent targeting of them by terrorist elements, a large security delegation arrived this morning, Monday, to Nineveh Governorate, headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, upon his arrival, held an extensive meeting with all security leaders in the province, to discuss security challenges and review plans that would enhance security to protect electric power lines and towers and vital facilities.
The delegation included the commander of the ground forces, the commander of the PMF operations, the director of military intelligence, senior security leaders, and a number of officers.
