Baghdad Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nadhim, discussed today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela, Arturo Aníbal Gallegos Ramírez, a number of tourism files between the two countries, on top of which is running a direct line between the capital, Baghdad, and the Venezuelan capital, Caracas.
The Venezuelan ambassador carried an invitation from the Minister of Tourism in his country to the Minister of Culture to visit Venezuela and set up a tour for him in the Caribbean islands, accompanied by representatives of a number of Iraqi tourism companies and tourism authority employees, to consolidate tourism relations between the two countries.
The ambassador also expressed his country’s serious desire to operate direct tourist flights between Iraq and Venezuela, reviewing a number of tourist attractions in his country.
The meeting also discussed a number of other cultural files, which enhance relations between the two countries. At the end of the meeting, Nadhim invited Gallegos Ramírez to visit the National Library and the Iraqi Museum.
