Nineveh Roads And Bridges Directorate Begins Rehabilitation And Reconstruction Of The Fifth Bridge In Mosul

Mosul The Directorate of Roads and Bridges in Nineveh Governorate began today, Tuesday, the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the fifth bridge after it was out of service during military operations.

Engineer Zakaria Yahia, the supervisor of the bridge reconstruction, told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that “the engineering and technical cadres in the Directorate of Roads and Bridges of Nineveh began construction and rehabilitation of the fifth bridge after the Mosul municipality finished removing all the rubble from the bridge completely.”

Yahia added that “the reconstruction of the bridge comes within the second phase of reconstruction and stability in the city of Mosul, indicating that the sums for the reconstruction of the bridge were allocated by the federal government within the sums for the reconstruction of the affected sites, and that the period for completing the reconstruction of the bridge was set at about (20) months.”
