Baghdad The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the suspension of official working hours in Baghdad tomorrow, Thursday, due to high temperatures.
The General Secretariat said in a statement: “The official working hours will be suspended tomorrow, Thursday, in Baghdad due to the high temperatures, and the governors are authorized to suspend the official working hours tomorrow in the governorates whose temperature reaches 50 degrees Celsius or more.”
It added: “All security, health and service departments and institutions are excluded.”
In Maysan, the Governor Ali Douai decided to suspend official working hours in all governorate departments, tomorrow, Thursday. Reducing working hours until (1:pm) starting next Sunday, the fourth of July, until Thursday, the eighth of it.
Wasit Governorate decided to suspend the official working hours in its departments tomorrow, Thursday, due to the high temperatures.
It mentioned that the governorates of Basra, Dhi Qar, Najaf, Diwaniyah and Diyala decided to suspend official working hours on Wednesday and Thursday due to the high temperature.
