Baghdad The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, inspected today, Wednesday, Dora-Yusufiya highway project, and he toured with the engineering staff in the project, and briefed the stages of completion.
The Prime Minister stressed that “all the needs of implementing this project will be provided, with the aim of completing it on time,” directing the competent authorities to pay attention to the entrances to Baghdad, which are currently not appropriate to the capital and its position.
Al-Kadhimi held a meeting with the engineering staff of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities, and the staff of the company implementing the project, noting that the project “constitutes the beginning of correcting many projects that remained dead letter without real implementation, for various reasons, foremost of which is corruption and mismanagement.”
He explained: “This project has been designed for decades, and it is of great importance, and it is necessary that it be a model for correcting the situation in the future, with regard to the development of important roads in Iraq and all other projects.”
It is noteworthy that Dora-Yusufiya highway is one of the important and strategic roads, and will contribute to solving the traffic jams.
