Baghdad Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Bashir Al-Haddad, considered Baghdad’s hosting of the tripartite summit as a positive sign that confirms Iraq’s pioneering and pivotal role in the region.

In a statement, he said that the historic visit of President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi and the arrival of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein to the land of Rafidain at this particular stage come within the framework of what has been achieved from previous summits, building partnership at the highest levels between the three influential countries, and evaluating coordination mechanisms to face challenges in the region and the Middle East .

Al-Haddad promised that Baghdad would host the tripartite summit, positive indicators confirming the importance of Iraq’s historic pioneering and pivotal role in the region.

He stressed the need to expand the volume of security and military cooperation to eliminate terrorism, as well as economic and cultural cooperation, and the health aspect, especially the Corona pandemic, and to support efforts and efforts to ensure security and stability and reduce security and military tension throughout the region.
