Parliament Speaker: Allocating An additional Amount To Support And Reconstruct Vital Projects In Nineveh

 

Mosul Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi revealed the allocation of an additional amount of money to support vital projects throughout the city of Mosul, the center of Nineveh Governorate, against the background of his field tour that included all the districts of Mosul and the city center.

Al-Halbousi said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The House of Representatives allocated additional (unspecified) amounts in addition to the 73 billion dinars, which had been allocated to the Mosul municipality to complete the city’s reconstruction projects, which will be a starting point for the reconstruction of Iraqi cities.”

He added, “The support will include constructing roads, paving streets, reconstructing the rest of the destroyed state departments, projects for children, and establishing new hospitals on the left and right sides of Mosul, with a short time limit.”
