Baghdad The UN Security Council called for an immediate cessation of all hostilities in Afghanistan and for the unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid.
In a statement following its emergency session today, it also called for the formation of a new Afghan government through negotiations characterized by unity and inclusiveness and including women.
