Baghdad Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein, received today, Tuesday, a copy of the credentials of the new Bangladeshi Ambassador to Baghdad, Amdi Fadloul.
Hussein stressed during the meeting, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry, that “Iraq is keen to establish the best relations with all countries of the world, to activate mutual interests and confront common risks.”
He called for activating the agreements signed between Baghdad and Bangladesh, expressing the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide everything that would lead to the success of the mission of the Bangladeshi mission to Baghdad in the framework of developing bilateral relations.
For his part, Amadi Fadloul offered his country’s congratulations to Iraq for the victories it achieved in its war against terrorism, the great success it had emerged from the isolation it was facing, the diplomatic openness and the development of its relations with the countries of the world, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation, and exchange visits between officials of the two countries.
