Iraq and Canada discuss strengthening bilateral relations

Baghdad The acting head of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Shamran Hajim, met the Canadian Ambassador to Baghdad, Ulric Shannon.

The two sides discussed, according to a Ministry statement, a mechanism for creating prospects for cooperation at all levels to serve the interests of the two peoples, and to work to overcome all difficulties facing the Embassy’s work.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his thanks and great gratitude for the support and facilities provided by the Protocol Department to the Canadian mission in Iraq.
