Al-Kadhimi heads to Kuwait at the head of a government delegation

Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi headed to Kuwait this morning on an official visit at the head of a government delegation.

Al-Kadhimi said in a press statement that the visit comes as part of the government’s efforts; to strengthen cooperation and bilateral relations with various countries, including the sisterly State of Kuwait.

He added, “the visit will discuss many economic, political, energy, investment and other files, and enhance them in the interest of the two brotherly peoples.”

Al-Kadhimi indicated that “Iraq is on a date with early elections, and that the government is committed and determined to hold them on their scheduled date on the tenth of October 2021, and it has prepared all the necessary procedures for fair elections and an appropriate atmosphere to be one of the best democratic practices that the country is witnessing.”
