Baghdad The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, affirmed that the Iraqis are looking forward today to a secure state that serves its people through good governance, and expresses their independent will.
Salih said in his tweet: Today, contemporary Iraq is a century old. On the anniversary of the inauguration of (the late) King Faisal I. One hundred years of historical turning points, which bore achievements and setbacks from wars, tragedies and tyranny. On this anniversary, we affirm the Iraqis’ aspiration for a secure state that serves its people through rational rule, and expresses their independent will.”
