Baghdad The British Foreign Office officially announced the appointment of Mark Bryson-Richardson as the new ambassador of the United Kingdom government to Iraq, succeeding the current ambassador, Stephen Hickey.
Ambassador Mark will assume his new duties during the month of July, according to a British Foreign Office statement.
Ambassador Stephen Hickey assumed his duties during the month of November 2019, succeeding Ambassador John Wilkes, who moved to another diplomatic post.
