Hassan Nadhem: Al-Kadhimi will go on a European tour and visit the United States during the coming period / Expanded

 

Baghdad The Spokesman for the Council of Ministers and Minister of Culture, Hassan Nadhim, announced that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi will visit European countries and the United States during the coming period.

He said in the weekly press conference that the government is in negotiations with the United States to take care of our national interests.

Nadhem added that there is technical work between the two countries to end the file of the US combat forces in Iraq.

He explained that there is a serious plan to distribute land to all citizens after the completion of the electronic platform for submission.

Nadhem continued that there are measures by the government to take care of the housing file through the initiative of the Central Bank to finance the Real Estate Bank and the Housing Fund with more than one trillion and 800 billion dinars, which will grant loans to citizens without interest to buy and build housing units with a payment period of up to 20 years to motivate citizens to buy housing units.

He pointed out that the Council of Ministers discussed printing school curricula inside Iraq and providing them with the start of the next academic year.

Nadhem stated that the Council of Ministers decided to write off the sums owed by the Prisoners Institution’s employees who were martyred as a result of terrorism.

He noted that the Council of Ministers hosted the Head of the Electoral Commission and the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Elections Affairs to overcome the difficulties facing its work and to discuss preparing the commission’s warehouses and taking care of the cadre that will work during the elections.

Nadhem stressed the government’s determination to achieve fair and impartial elections on the scheduled date on the tenth of next October.

The Council, according to Nadhem, agreed to allocate three billion dinars for the expansion of the Baghdad-Kut road, indicating that the council approved the national strategy to protect sensitive security structures such as oil, electricity and others.

He pointed out that the amount of 200 billion dinars allocated to the region will be sent soon because of its importance to the humanitarian side.

Nadhem stated that the Federal Service Council is working on appointments according to the needs of the ministries.
