Sisi affirms, during his meeting with President Barham Salih, that Egypt looks forward to developing cooperation with Iraq, both economically and strategically

 

Baghdad Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi affirmed Egypt’s aspiration to develop bilateral cooperation with Iraq into a sustainable framework of economic integration and strategic cooperation, especially in light of the great challenges facing the region, as well as the economic and social crises caused by the Corona pandemic.

The official Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, Ambassador Bassam Radhy, said: “President Sisi thanked his brother, the Iraqi president, for the warm reception and hospitality, expressing appreciation for the close and historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries at the official and popular levels, as well as the extended civilizational and cultural intertwining, wishing all success and the success of the executive authority in Iraq in managing the state during this important turning point in the history of the brotherly Iraqi people.”
