Baghdad The head of the Iraqis Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region and the upcoming elections.
A statement from the office of the head of the Iraqis Alliance stated: Al-Hakim received yesterday evening in his office in Baghdad, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi, and exchanged views on the developments of the political scene in Iraq and the region, the upcoming electoral entitlement, and the role of Parliament in the next stage.
Al-Hakim stressed the importance of preparing for the elections and competing on the basis of programs and visions that would change the service and economic reality in the country.
He stressed the need for the House of Representatives to take its role in oversight, legislation, and the completion of suspended laws that have direct contact with the concerns of the citizen.
