Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced that 15 citizens were injured in Maridi market explosion, east of Baghdad.

It stated in a statement: Following the news of the explosion in a market in Sadr City, east of the capital, Baghdad, after investigation and gathering information, it was found that the accident was the explosion of a homemade explosive device, which was placed under one of the “kiosks in the Maridi market”, which led to the injury of 15 citizens. Most of them left the hospital after receiving treatment.

It added that detachments of anti-explosives and forensic experts are there, and the security forces have opened an investigation to find out the circumstances of this incident.
