Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the arrest of a suspect accused of forging the documents of the murdered terrorists and turning them into victims of terrorism or martyrs in Kirkuk.
A statement by the Cell stated that after careful observation and a qualitative intelligence effort, a commando regiment of the Rapid Response Division, in cooperation with the National Security Apparatus, was able to arrest one of those wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Articles 288/298 on charges of falsifying the documents of the killed terrorists and turning them into victims of terrorism or martyrs in the southern Kefri area, Kirkuk Governorate.
He explained that the arrest took place during an ambush for the wanted man prior to his escape to the Kurdistan region, after which the detainee was handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
