Six Ashura pilgrims were injured in a traffic accident west of Hilla

Hilla Six pilgrims of Ashura were injured this evening, Thursday, when a vehicle they were riding overturned on the road linking Babylon and Karbala, near the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, while they were returning from the Ashura visit.

A source in the Babylon police said, “Six people, including two children, were injured after a vehicle they were riding overturned on the road linking Babel and Karbala near Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, without knowing the cause of the accident.”

He added that the wounded were taken to Hilla Surgical Hospital for treatment, and that an investigation was opened to find out the circumstances of the accident.
