The Fifth Unit At Najibiyah Power Station In Basra Backs To Work After Maintenance

Basra The engineering and technical staff at Al-Najibiyah Thermal Power Station completed the maintenance of the fifth unit with a capacity of 60 megawatts, bringing it back to work and connecting it with the national grid today, Thursday.

Energy production media in the south quoted the director of the station, Engineer Shawki Bashir, as saying that “operating the station at its full capacity will contribute to enhancing production capacity and stabilizing the electrical grid.”

He added, “The return of the unit to work will be reflected positively by increasing the number of hours of supplying electrical energy to citizens in the governorate.
