Baghdad Minister of Interior Othman Al-Ghanimi directed the competent authorities to detain the policemen who were accompanying the director of the holy Karbala municipality, Eng. Abeer Salim, when he was shot while performing his duty, which led to his death, for not performing the duty entrusted to them and their inability to prevent this from happening the incident.
The Director of Karbala municipality, Eng. Abeer Salim, was exposed, yesterday, Tuesday, to shooting from one of the violators during a municipal campaign to remove the abuses, and he died, after being transferred to Al-Hussein Hospital, due to his injuries.
