Baghdad The National Security Agency held, today, Thursday, a meeting headed by the National Security advisor Qassem Al-Araji, on the security and water file with neighboring countries.
The National Security Agency stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “The meeting included representatives of the security and intelligence agencies, the ministries of water resources and trade, and the Border Ports Authority.”
The meeting discussed ways to secure and maintain Iraq’s water quotas in coordination with regional neighboring countries, and to follow up on joint security coordination with those countries to secure borders and prevent terrorist infiltration into Iraqi territory.
The participants in the meeting reviewed a number of challenges facing the security and water file with neighboring countries, as well as proposing a set of solutions for this vital and important file.
