The Popular Mobilization Forces repel an ISIS attack north of Baghdad

Baghdad A force of the Popular Mobilization repelled, today, Friday, an attack against ISIS terrorist elements in Tarmiyah, north of Baghdad.

The Popular Mobilization Information Directorate stated, in a statement: “The terrorist attack led to the injury of one of the fighters of the 12th Brigade in the crowd and a soldier in the army, before the terrorists fled to an unknown destination,” stressing that “the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army continue their operations in pursuit of ISIS remnants and destruction of their hideouts in Tarmiyah and the surrounding areas.”
