The Supreme Security Committee To Secure The Elections Continues Its Meetings

Baghdad The Supreme Security Committee to secure the elections continues its meetings, headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, and the presence of all members of the Committee, and the parties supporting it, for the purpose of creating safe and appropriate climates for conducting the democratic process in the country.

The Security Media Cell stated, “Today’s meeting was devoted to putting the touches on the electoral centers of the governorates (Basra, Diwaniyah, and Wasit), where the meeting discussed the distribution of tasks, duties and supervision, as well as the work of sub-committees, including administrative, intelligence, media, and security, and it is hoped that there be initial practical practices around holding the elections.
