Baghdad The security authorities in the Kurdistan region have thwarted a terrorist attempt to smuggle prisoners in the Erbil governorate.

The Anti-Terrorism Agency in the region announced in a statement that it had thwarted an attempt by ISIS to smuggle its prisoners in Erbil Governorate.

He added that with the confession of one of the terrorists, the terrorist organization had plans to attack the General Department for Combating Terrorism in Erbil to rescue its prisoners.
