Baquba A soldier was martyred and another was wounded in an explosive device explosion, northeast of Baquba, the center of Diyala governorate.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that an explosive device targeted a military patrol near the village of Abu Khanazir on the outskirts of Abi Saida district, northeast of Baquba. As a result, two patrolmen were killed and wounded.

He added that a security force rushed to the scene of the accident and embarked on a wide combing campaign in the area.
