Baghdad The Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of two suspects in terrorism and drug in the governorates of Baghdad and Wasit.
The directorate stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “The detachments of the Wasit Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the entrances to the province, according to accurate intelligence information and through a tight ambush, were able to arrest an accused wanted by the judiciary in the martyr Captain Ahmed Thabet checkpoint at the northern entrance to the governorate, a judicial warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 / Terrorism of the Penal Code.
It added, “The field detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate arrested one of those accused of promoting and selling narcotic substances in Suweib area of Baghdad, and a judicial warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (28 drugs).”
