Baghdad Military Intelligence detachments arrested two terrorists in Baghdad and Diyala, and seized a large quantity of explosive devices in Anbar.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that Intelligence detachments were able to arrest two terrorists wanted by the judiciary according to an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism in Al-Shaab area in Baghdad and Jalawla in Diyala.
It added that other intelligence detachments seized large quantities of explosive devices in the areas of Albu Hayat in Haditha, Al-Asriya village in Ramadi and Tal Afar, west of Nineveh. They included explosive devices, weapons and various ammunitions.
Meanwhile, a force of the Federal Police, in conjunction with the division’s intelligence department and detachments of drones, managed to destroy 3 hideouts of the defeated terrorist gangs in Kirkuk.
A statement by the Security Media Cell stated that a duty of raid and search was carried out in Wadi Abu Shahma and the surrounding areas within Al-Rashad district in Kirkuk governorate, which resulted in the destruction of 3 hideouts belonging to terrorist gangs.
It added that inside the dens, food and medical supplies, mattresses, clothes and cooking utensils, and two motorcycles were found.
