Maysan police arrested 4 wanted men during an exchange of fire with security forces in Al-Maimuna district

AmaraMaysan Governorate Police Directorate announced today, Thursday, the arrest of four wanted men during a raid that included an exchange of fire in one of the areas of Al-Maimuna district, southwest of the governorate.

The Directorate said in a statement, that after receiving information that there were wanted persons on various charges, a security force was formed, consisting of the Maimuna District Police Department, the Maysan Tactical Regiment, and the Special Missions Regiment, with the participation of a detachment from the Qala’at Saleh District Police Department. It added, that the force came under fire from outlaws in the area, and the response was decisive and valiant without causing any casualties, indicating that the operation resulted in the arrest of four suspects wanted according to various legal articles, noting that they were taken to primitive investigations in order to refer them to the judiciary.
