/10/ years in prison for two criminals for dealing in narcotics in Baghdad

Baghdad The Central Criminal Court in the presidency of the Baghdad-Rusafa Federal Appeal Court issued two sentences against criminals of ten years imprisonment for the crime of drug trafficking.

A statement by the Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated that “the first criminal was arrested in his possession of 3400 grams of cannabis, 750 mg of cannabis and 104 grams of methyl amphetamine with the tools of abuse for the purpose of trafficking in them, in addition to possession of Firearm (a pistol).

It added that “the second criminal was seized in his possession (94) grams of the narcotic substance methyl amphetamine for the purpose of promoting and trafficking in it.”

It continued, “The two judgments against criminals come based on the provisions of Article 28 / first of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of 2017.
