11 people accused of clan conflict arrested in Baghdad

Baghdad The security forces announced, today, Wednesday, the arrest of 11 suspects in a clan conflict in Sadr City in Baghdad.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated, “with the aim of extending security and stability in all areas of the capital, working to reduce clan conflicts and holding accountable all those who tempted to tamper with security, the security forces in the Baghdad Operations Command were able to arrest 11 suspects from both sides of the quarrel that took place in Sadr City, east of the capital, Baghdad.

The statement added, “the security forces were also able to seize 3 Kalashnikov and Brno rifles and 3 pistols, as well as a sight, and a Saipa car that was carrying a weapon.
