Al-Amara The security forces in Maysan arrested 11 people accused of trafficking and using narcotic substances in separate areas of the city of Al-Amara.
A statement by the Police Directorate stated that the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department arrested (9) wanted persons for drug dealing and use in their possession of narcotic substances, in addition to drug paraphernalia.
He added that the detachments of the control department arrested two suspects in their possession of (20 grams) of crystal narcotic, during a close inspection within the control of the southern al-Hawli.
The statement indicated that legal measures were taken against the accused in accordance with the provisions of Articles (28 and 32) of the Drugs Act.
