12 People Killed, Wounded In Four Explosions In Baghdad

BAGHDAD / The spokesman of Baghdad Operations Command Brigadier General Saad Maan announced that 12 people were killed and wounding due to four bombings in the capital on Wednesday.

He said in a press statement that the west and southwest areas of Baghdad witnessed today an explosion of four improvised explosive devices, which led to the death of three people and wounding nine others.

He added that (fourth police) district saw this morning two blasts and a third in (fifth police) district and a fourth in Bayaa area, indicating that the blasts occurred in the citizens' assemblies and popular market areas.
