16 People, Including Iranians, Died And Injured in Traffic Accidents in Four Provinces

Baghdad The General Traffic Directorate announced the death and injury of 16 people, including Iranian visitors, in traffic accidents in 4 provinces.

The directorate said in a statement that “a collision occurred in Basra province between two vehicles due to high speed and wrong passing, which resulted in the injury of six people, four of whom were Iranian visitors and two Iraqis.”

It added that “a second collision occurred in Dhi Qar Governorate between two vehicles, the first of the Toyota Crown Saloon and the second of the Starex type, due to high speed, which led to the death of two people and the injury of two others.”

In Al-Muthanna Governorate, two people died and two others were injured in a collision between two vehicles, the first is a Lexus and the second is a Hyundai Starex due to high speed and lack of attention.

The directorate added that “a collision occurred in Kirkuk governorate between four vehicles, which varied between taxis and privates due to high speed and lack of attention, which led to the death of two people.”
