The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested two suspects in Basra, and seized 3 kilograms of crystal in their possession.

The Basra Governorate Police Command stated in a statement today, under the direction of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and under the direct supervision of Major General Ahmed Al-Zarkani, Director General of Drug Control, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, the Narcotics Control Directorate and the Basra Narcotics Department, managed to arrest two suspects in the city center of Basra and Safwan district, in a security operation, seized “3 kg” of crystal, in addition to “187,900” narcotic pills of the “Tramadol” type.

The statement added that the accused have been referred to the judiciary.
