The security forces in Maysan arrested 20 accused of various crimes, during security operations carried out in separate areas of the governorate.

The Maysan Police Directorate said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: "The defendants' crimes varied between premeditated murder, terrorism, theft, drugs, and other legal and criminal materials."
