Hilla Three people from the family of the official spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, were injured in a traffic accident after a car they were riding overturned on the road linking Babylon and Baghdad near Mahaweel district, north of Hilla, this Friday evening.

The Director of Babylon Police Information, Brigadier Adel Al-Husseini, said, “A car in which three people from his family were traveling, the official spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, including his wife, overturned on the highway linking Babylon and Baghdad near Al-Mahaweel district.”

He added that the wounded were taken to Hilla Surgical Hospital for treatment, and that the condition of one of them is serious, noting that the police have opened an investigation into the incident.
