Baquba, Diyala operations command announced the destruction of two hideouts to Daesh and the detonation of (4) explosive devices under control northeast of Baquba.
“The joint forces carried out a large security operation to track the cells of Daesh in the north-east of Baquba, which resulted in the destruction of two hideouts to Daesh and the detonation of 4 IEDs under control in the valley of Thalab,” Lieutenant General Mezher al-Azzawi, commander of Diyala operations, told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA).
He added: “The security forces of all types continue to track Daesh gangs to eliminate them.”
On the other hand, the security forces foiled an attack to Daesh organization on a village northeast of Baquba.
