Kut Wasit Police Command announced the arrest of 41 suspects and wanted persons within 24 hours in an operation carried out by joint detachments in separate areas of the governorate.
A source in Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the arrests were carried out by joint detachments of the emergency, national security and intelligence regiments, adding that 268 violating motorcycles were seized, in addition to imposing 113 traffic fines for violating vehicles, and legal measures were taken against the violators and the wanted suspects and referred them to the judiciary.
