/5 / Gülen members arrested while trying to flee to Greece

Istanbul Turkish security forces arrested 5 members of the outlawed Gülen organization while they were trying to flee to Greece through the Mediterranean.

Security sources said in press statements today, Sunday, that the security forces had received information about a number of suspects attempting to flee to Greece by sea from the coastal city of Bodrum in the western state of Mugla.

They added that the security forces stopped a boat off the coast of Bodrum and seized 6 people inside, 5 of whom were later found to be members of the Gülen organization.

They explained that the security forces arrested the sixth suspect on charges of human smuggling, and transferred them to a center for interrogation
