Amara The security forces in Maysan arrested 6 people from both sides of a clan conflict that took place in Qalaat Salih district, south of Maysan, and caused deaths and injuries.

A statement by the Police Directorate stated that a security force consisting of Qalaat Salih district police station and the rest of the security forces’ formations within the sector of responsibility, was able to resolve a clan dispute that broke out between two clans in one of the remote areas of Qalaat Salih district, south of the province, and caused deaths and injuries.

The statement added, “Weapons have been seized in the suspects’ possession, and they will be referred to the judiciary, noting that the raids and searches at the scene are still continuing to arrest all those who provoked conflicts and bring them to justice.”
