/ 8/ wanted men, including 3 Pakistanis without passports arrested, and the confiscation of various weapons in northern Basra

Basra The security forces arrested 8 wanted persons, three of whom are Pakistanis, who do not have passports or identification documents, and various weapons have been confiscated in northern Basra.

The Basra Operations Command stated in a statement, “that joint security forces managed to confiscate light and medium weapons and various types of ammunition in the northern areas of Basra Governorate, noting that the Basra Governorate police arrested the most dangerous gang that was practicing murder, armed robbery and shoplifting in Basra and the rest of the provinces.”

It explained that the leadership has strengthened the security presence at the Safwan border crossing with the State of Kuwait because of its great economic importance.
